A little more about The Flower Yard and our founder, Nic

Originally from Berkshire, in the south of England, The Flower Yard founder Nic has worked as a florist from a young age and set up her own studio in the historic town of Windsor, in view of the castle.

She moved to Ireland in 2019 after falling in love with a man from Ballingeary. After a break raising twin boys and inspired by the wild landscapes and the close relationship with nature innate to county Cork, she returned to her first love - floristry and began creating wedding flowers again.

Her style is classic with a playful twist, with an emphasis on beautifully complementary colours and textures.
